4. Payment and Pricing
4.1 Course Fees
All course fees are displayed on our website in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) and are inclusive of VAT where applicable. Prices are subject to change, but any changes will not affect orders that have already been confirmed.
4.2 Payment Methods
We accept payment by major credit and debit cards and other payment methods as indicated at the point of purchase. All payments are processed securely through PCI DSS-compliant third-party payment providers. UK TEFL Institute does not store your full payment card details on our servers.
4.3 Refund Policy
We offer refunds in accordance with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013:
- Cancellation period: You have 14 days from the date of enrolment to cancel your order and receive a full refund, provided you have not accessed or commenced any course materials.
- After accessing course materials: If you have begun studying your course within the 14-day cancellation period, a proportionate deduction may be made from your refund to reflect the materials accessed.
- After 14 days: Refund requests made after the 14-day cancellation period will be considered on a case-by-case basis at our discretion.

5. Course Delivery and Completion
- Access: Upon successful payment, you will be granted access to your chosen course materials. Courses are self-paced, and you may complete them at a time and speed that suits you.
- Duration: There is no fixed deadline for completing your course, though we recommend completing it within 6 months of enrolment to maintain continuity of study.
- Assessment: Each course includes assessed coursework that must be completed and submitted to a satisfactory standard in order to receive your certificate.
- Certification: Upon successful completion of all required modules and assessments, you will receive an accredited TEFL/TESOL certificate issued by UK TEFL Institute.
- Resubmission: If your coursework does not meet the required standard, you will be given the opportunity to resubmit with guidance from your assigned tutor at no additional charge.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on this website and within our course materials -- including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, audio, video, software, and the compilation thereof -- is the property of UK TEFL Institute or its content suppliers and is protected by United Kingdom and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
6.1 Permitted Use
- You may access and use course materials solely for your own personal, non-commercial educational purposes.
- You may download or print reasonable portions of course materials for personal study reference.
6.2 Prohibited Use
- You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, display, sell, license, or create derivative works from any of our content without our prior written consent.
- You may not share your course login credentials with others or allow others to access course materials through your account.
- You may not use any automated system, including bots or scrapers, to access our website or extract content.
- You may not remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices.
7. User Conduct

- Submit any coursework or assessment material that is not your own original work (plagiarism will result in immediate disqualification).

The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms, provided that nothing in this clause shall prevent either party from seeking injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.
If you are a consumer resident in another part of the United Kingdom, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of the country in which you are resident.
13. Severability and Waiver
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be deemed modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
